Q: How do these fly out of a crossbow?

A: We have shot all of these out of a 290-300fps crossbow with great accuracy. We just had the 100g mechanicals shot out of a Ravin R500 and had field point accuracy.

Q: What kind of blade locking mechanism is used on the mechanicals?

A: On our new patent pending Pop n Lock design, the locking tabs on the blades lock against the ferrule and act as a retention device inside the ferrule.

Q: How big are the holes with the mechanicals? (my favorite question)

A: 1.7” mech is getting 2” entries consistently and occasionally larger than that. The 187 (actually a 1.9” cut) is getting 2.5-3” consistently.

Q: What is the lowest poundage you’ve shot your mechanical?

A: We got a complete pass through on a 150lb sow with a 55lb bow at 26” draw with the 1.65 mech. Also a complete pass through on a South Texas whitetail doe with 48lbs and 25.5” draw with the 1.65 mech.

Q: Where are your broadheads made?

A: Over 1/2 of production comes from USA and other portion sourced globally. With over 1/2 we could claim “made in USA” like other manufacturers do, but we are honest and do not believe in that practice.

Q: How well does the tip hold up?

A: The tip holds up extremely well since it is .040” thick and 3/8” wide. It also acts as a bleeder blade in all of the designs.
